Built atop a hill near the Tamarindo estuary, the property has views along Playa Grande—including vistas of the sunset over the Pacific—and a location a short walk from the beach and town. Seven suite-style bedrooms, including one in a guest house, make the expansive villa feel like your own private beach resort.

At Casa Alang Alang, wake up each day and enjoy a breakfast that’s already been prepared before stepping outside and deciding which of the two pools will be your first swim of the day. (You also have the choice of a soak in the hot tub.) Sunbathe in the lounge chairs on the deck, nap in the hammock, exercise in the fitness room or book a treatment on the massage table, and send the kids to play on the trampoline or skate on the half-pipe. Rinse off in the outdoor shower before preparing dinner on the barbecue and sitting down to eat at the al-fresco dining area. Though it feels secluded, the villa is fully connected with Apple TV and Wi-Fi.

There are six bedrooms in the main house at Casa Alang Alang and one in the guest house; each has an en-suite bathroom. The main-house master suite has a king bed, walk-in closet, dressing area and its own balcony. There are four other bedrooms with king beds, all of which either open to a terrace or have ocean views. The sixth main-house bedroom has two twin beds, a dressing area and a private balcony. An extra room with five twin beds, an en-suite bathroom, ocean views and even a ping-pong table provides additional accommodations. The guest house has a bedroom with a king bed as well as a lounge area, kitchenette, dining table and private balcony.

If the beach views aren’t enough and you need to put your toes in the sand, it’s a 5-minute walk from the villa to Pangas Beach Club and the town center. The airports closest to Casa Alang Alang are Daniel Oduber International, 43.5 miles away, and Juan Santamaria International, 153 miles away.
Rental Rates start at 1,900 $ nightly rate. Please contact us for a detailed quote for your dates.
Booking and Payment

• Deposit to book the house as a partial payment of the rent: 50 % of rental amount
• Remaining balance of 50 % is due 60 days before arrival date
• Refundable security deposit of 2500$ is due 60 days before arrival date. Option is to pay 2500$ cash upon arrival to our concierge who will return before departure after inspection and sign off.
